Prambanan Temple was declared a world cultural heritage in 1991 by UNESCO. The temple, located on the border of Klaten in Central Java Province, has a splendor and beauty. This temple is located in Bokoharjo Village, Prambanan District, Sleman Regency, Central Java Province. Tourist attractions This history is open every day except on Nyepi Day. Prambanan opens at 06.00-17.00 WIB. Entry to this historical tour will be charged. Entrance fees between domestic and foreign tourists are different. The price of admission for domestic tourists is IDR 40,000 while for the entrance ticket for foreign tourists is 18 USD and children 8 USD.
If you are going to travel in a private location, you can take the easiest route used by tourists. If you are in the City of Yogyakarta you must go to Jl. Jogja-Solo. Next straight east until you see the Central Java border gate. Turn left after you meet the traffic lights and arrive at the destination location.
If you are going to the location using public transportation from the direction of Jogja, you can take the Trans Jogja Corridor 1A bus. This bus will deliver you right in front of the temple complex and only pay IDR 3,500. But if from Semarang you need to use the AKAP bus to Jogjakarta, then connect the Trans Jogja Bus earlier.
